Youth in grades K-4 are invited to Wilson Museum’s annual February Vacation Camp: Our Animal Friends!
What makes a horseshoe crab a superhero? How does a beaver build her dam? How did the black bear become a constellation? Youth in grades K-4 are invited to join Miss Georgia and Miss Haley at the Wilson Museum for an exciting February Vacation Camp to find out! Campers will explore the lives and lore of local animal species through creative projects, object-based learning, and outdoor activities.
Come for an individual day or for the whole week! This fantastic week-long camp costs $10 per day or $50 for all five days. This fee helps to cover all materials and resources needed for the activities. Need-based scholarships are available upon request.
Campers can expect to get messy with creative projects and spend extended time outdoors. Durable clothing with warm layers, waterproof footwear, indoor slippers/socks, and a change of clothes (just in case!) are all recommended for camp. Please also ensure that your camper brings a hearty snack and plenty of water to refuel throughout the day!
