This two-part virtual workshop will focus on developing the necessary skills to design projects suitable for the 3D printer. This will include how to work with TinkerCAD, a beginner friendly 3D modeling program, to produce objects and geometry suitable for 3D printing. Please note that this workshop does not include actual 3D printing.

James Rutter is Haystack’s Technology Director. He holds a Ph.D. in STEM Education and a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering. He has spent the past 15 years working in creative and educational spaces developing programs and projects for Fab Labs and makerspaces.
