Kids and families are invited to a beach cleanup at Peter’s Cove on the East Blue Hill Road as part of the Blue Hill Public Library’s “Conservation Kids” program, on Wednesday, July 25. Interested folks can meet at the library at 10:00 AM, and caregivers will then transport kids to the site.
This project is the third in a series of five “Conservation Kids” projects by the library that are intended to engage youth volunteers to positively impact the environment and community on the Blue Hill Peninsula. The projects are designed to teach kids proactive steps they can take to make a difference in helping to preserve the natural world around them. These programs are made possible by a grant from the Davis Conservation Foundation. For more information call the library at 374-5515.
