Hancock County Maintenance Worker III will assist primarily at Maine Coast Hospital including all its offsite clinics in the performance of necessary duties.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Operate and maintain boilers and other auxiliary equipment for producing steam heat and other purposes for Maine Coast Hospital. • Operate and maintain all mechanical support equipment. • Conduct rounds of all mechanical spaces while maintaining proper operating logs. • Constructs, repairs, and maintains wooden structures. • Applies coats of paint, stain, enamels, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces. • Assist in Fire, Emergency, and all other drills. • Respond and assists to the security needs of the hospital as necessary. • Stay current with all assigned training modules. • Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. • Contribute effectively to the accomplishment of Hancock County hospitals and offsite clinics goals, objectives, and activities. • May be assigned to assist will all above listed duties at Blue Hill Hospital including all its offsite clinics.

Credentials

 

Required Boiler Operator – State of Maine High Pressure Boiler License preferred; expected to be certified and licensed within 12 months of hire via sponsored training

 

Required Driver’s License
