Blue Hill homeopathic practitioner Edith Howland will present a program, “What is Holistic Medicine,” at the Blue Hill Public Library on Saturday June 23rd at 2:00 PM. Edee will briefly describe the principal aspects that distinguish classical homeopathy, naturopathy, Ayurveda, traditional Chinese medicine, and Western functional medicine, and how these heal and maintain health. With a focus on how healthy lifestyle choice can contribute to prevention of illness, Edee will discuss how some of these ancient concepts can contribute to human well-being.
Edee Howland has a classical homeopathy practice in Blue Hill. She is a graduate of Stanford University and spent summers on Little Deer Isle since infancy before moving to Maine to live year-round in 2001.
