Apple expert John Bunker, described by some as an “apple whisperer,” has made it his mission to search out and propagate apple varieties that once were part of every New England farm. Join the Blue Hill Co-op in welcoming him to the BHPL where he will share Maine’s apple history, and his adventures tracking down, identifying and preserving rare historic varieties, Attendees who have their own apple trees are encouraged to bring fruit for identification.
