Meet at the Blue Hill Heritage Trust/Carter Nature Preserve parking lot on the Cross Road that runs between the Newbury Neck Road and the Morgan Bay Road in Surry.
We will hike the 1.6 mile loop through the woods to the cove at the head of Morgan Bay, then along the shore back to the Cross Road, stopping along the way to look at interesting natural features and signs of spring.
Susan Guilford is one of the trail stewards at CNP and will share about how she cares for this land in all seasons! She is also a Maine Master Naturalist.
Please wear sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle. Children are welcome too!
