Healthy Peninsula, the Blue Hill YMCA, and the Island Community Center are hosting its second annual Healthy Hibernation Fair.
During the fair, the Blue Hill YMCA will be hosting an open house with free access to the walking track, weight room, and swimming pool. The fair will be held in the gymnasium where peninsula organizations and businesses will gather to share information and opportunities that will benefit the mental, emotional and physical health of our community members throughout the winter months and beyond. Child Watch, which will be provided by the YMCA, will be available so parents/grandparents can visit the vendors and experience the Y on their own.
There will be many fun activities and educational demonstrations. This will also be a great chance to connect with volunteer opportunities. Concessions will be available from Island Cheer and Sedgwick’s 8th grade class . To add to the fun, we have many door prizes provided by our generous vendors!
Flu and Covid vaccinations for adults will be provided by Northern Light Home Care & Hospice and the Eastern Area Agency on Aging.
