The Blue Hill Public Library will host reading mentorship for kids on Wednesdays July 11th, 18th, and 25th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the library’s Larchwood Children’s Room. Blue Hill resident and reading teacher Sally Brown will be available for any kids who would like to read to her and receive patient encouragement. No sign up is necessary—kids can just drop in.
Sally has a master’s degree in education and certification from Massachusetts General Hospital in helping dyslexic children read using the Orton Gillingham method. For more information, call the library at 374-5515.
