Photography Basics 2-day Workshop: Parts One and Two with Ronald – June 2022 – ZOOMThis course was created to teach only what you need to know in the important basics of photography as a stepping-stone for you to move forward in this rewarding visual art!Part One/Day One of Photography Basics is designed to teach and educate you on the very basics of 35mm photography with an emphasis on “digital photography” since we live in the digital age.  Ronald begins by introducing you to the cameras, lenses and gear that are most needed. – 3 hours on FridayPart Two/Day Two of Photography Basics will introduce you to the “art side” of photography called “composition” and then the principles of “exposure” and “light”. – 3 hours on Sunday It is Ronald’s hope that this course will get you started in photography, help eliminate any confusion or frustration you may have, and learn more about the art and science of “writing with light”! Monday and Thursday from 5:30pm to 8:30pmJune 20th and 23rd, 2022ArtWaves 1345A Hwy 102 Bar Harbor207-266-0010To Register:  https://artwavesmdi.org/event-4777385$70 ($60 for members)Teens/Adults of all skill levelsAccess to your own 35mm digital camera is welcome but not mandatory.  You may use this course to decide if you want to delve into the photography world!

About the instructor: Ronald Zincone is an award-winning photographer with an online business located in North Kingstown, RI. He is currently a continuing education student in the Photography program at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography (NYIP). Zincone is also a member of the Skyscrapers, Inc. (AASRI), the Association of Lunar and Planetary Observers (ALPO), the Astronomical League (AL), the Planetary Society (TPS), the Antique Telescope Society (ATS), a Certified Photographic Consultant C.P.C., and a Certified SkyWarn Spotter for the National Weather Service. Zincone has pursued 35mm photography, astronomy and extreme weather since the 1970’s. He has established an official business since 2005 and he has been a lifelong learning teacher since 2006.
