Ellsworth and Blue Hill, Maine (August 18, 2025) – Northern Light Health invites Hancock County residents to attend a free discussion on healthy brain aging, featuring experts in the field of cognitive aging and neurodegenerative disorders. The event will take place at two locations on Saturday, September 13:
- 10 am: Northern Light Blue Hill Hospital (Sussman Health Center), 57 Water Street, Blue Hill
- 1 pm: Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital (Hospital classroom), 50 Union Street, Ellsworth
Join Rebecca MacAulay, PhD, from Northern Light Memory and Aging and Acadia Hospital and clinical researcher in cognitive aging, and associate professor at the University of Maine, and Allyson Goldstein, BS, BA, graduate researcher and doctoral-level clinician-in-training in neuropsychology, as they share valuable information on normal brain aging vs. mild cognitive impairment, tips on how to support your own brain health, and available treatments for Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia.
