Live from the MET: Luisa Miller (Verdi)

The “Live in HD” high-definition simulcast series of productions and hi def encore screenings from The New York Metropolitan Opera on the Grand’s Coastal Eye Care Screen continues its 2017-2018 season on Saturday April 14th at 12:30 pm with Verdi’s “Luisa Miller.” Plácido Domingo adds yet another chapter to his legendary Met performances with this rarely performed Verdi gem, a heart-wrenching tragedy of fatherly love. Sonya Yoncheva sings the title role opposite Piotr Becza?a in the first Met performances of the opera in more than ten years. The estimated running time is 3 hours and 38 minutes with two intermissions.
