The Blue Hill Public Library invites kids to join the “Inklings” book and movie club on Saturday, November 17th at 2:00 PM. Inklings explores stories of clever children who use their wits to overcome insurmountable odds. This month’s book is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J. K. Rowling, and the group will be watching the film of the same name. Copies of the book are now available for checkout at the library.

According to Youth Services Librarian Claire, “The war against Voldemort is not going well, Dumbledore is absent from Hogwarts for long stretches of time, and the Order of the Phoenix has already suffered losses. And yet… as with all wars, life goes on. Join us for the sixth installment in the Harry Potter series while we watch the film, eat muggle food, and whip up a craft witches and wizards would be proud of.”

Inklings welcomes kids of all ages. The books and movies we read and watch together cover a wide range of subjects and styles, and we encourage families to research them in advance and decide which are right for you and your child. For more information call the library at 374-5515.
