Gus LaCasse is a Downeast Maine fiddler known for his high-energy playing and roots in Acadian and Cape Breton traditions. Blending traditional tunes with original compositions, he brings a lively mix of Québécois, Irish, and Celtic influences to stages across New England. A frequent performer at dances, festivals, and community events, LaCasse is a dynamic presence in Maine’s traditional music scene.
Pepin Mittelhauser is the Digital Media Coordinator at WERU Community Radio, a broadcaster, musician, singer, carpenter and sound engineer. He is a Maine-based musician and multi-instrumentalist known for his work in the traditional folk and contra dance scene. A skilled accompanist and ensemble player, he performs on piano and other instruments, providing rhythmic drive and musical lift for dances and community events across New England. His playing blends traditional influences with a fresh, responsive style that keeps dancers moving and audiences engaged.
