Join us for a leisurely 1.5-mile adventure for all ages (leashed pets welcome) ringing in 2025 by hiking the coastal woods with friends and neighbors.
We will meet at the Backshore Trail parking lot (Indian Bar Rd) and walk easy trails toward Goose Falls village with the option of hiking the shireline trail that provides wonderful views of Islesboro and beyond (condiitons permitting). We will pause at Goose Falls Bridge then pass Harborside’s oldesst cemetery before returning via Back Road to the trailhead.
Meet & Greet at 1:00 – Warm beverages, water, and snacks will be on hand at the start and finish of our walk. The guided hike will begin at 1:30 or explore on your own anytime during the afternoon. Please wear warm clothing and sturdy footwear.
