Woodlawn Museum is pleased to offer Drawing for the Beginner with David Paterson on Saturday, June 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  If you have always wanted to draw but wondered if you were creative enough, this is a class for you.  Paterson is an art educator that guides people through the learning process in a low stress environment. Students will explore their own creativity through a series of exercise designed to unlock their drawing and artistic potential. No experience is necessary.  The cost for the one day class is $65 for Woodlawn members/$75 for non-members.  Students are asked to bring a couple of #2 pencils, a drawing pad (8.5″ x 11″ works well) and lunch.

David Paterson is an Art Educator trained at the University of Maine in Orono.  He has taught in many different public schools and most recently in the Bangor Area Adult education program.  As space is limited, pre-registration is required by calling Woodlawn at 667-8671 or e-mail events@woodlawnmuseum.org.
