The Bagaduce Music Lending Library is pleased to announce The Downeast Jazz Trio in concert on September 17, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the BMLL Performance Hall, 49 South Street, Blue Hill, Maine.
The Downeast Jazz Trio was formed by Frank Fredenburgh nine years ago to promote contemporary jazz music in Downeast Maine. Fredenburgh who performed professionally in the Poughkeepsie, NY area and now resides in Steben, was joined by John Gallagher from East Blue Hill on bass and percussionist Andrew Clifford from Bangor. They have performed many concerts, private affairs and charitable events throughout Washington and Hancock counties. The group was joined last year by jazz vocalist Ann Delaney.
The Trio plays a wide spectrum of jazz music. The Downeast Coastal Press review of a November concert called the group a ‘dynamo of musical energy’.
