DNA Day at the Blue Hill Library

1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Blue Hill Public Library
5 Parker Point Rd, Blue Hill, ME, 04614

Kids ages 8 and older, and their families, are invited to explore the science-y substance behind what makes each of us unique– and what makes all living things on Earth so similar: DNA!—at the Blue Hill Public Library on Saturday, June 22nd at 1:00 PM.

Scientist Elli Hartig is a researcher with a special passion for making science fun, accessible, and interactive for all ages. She has worked with school groups and library patrons to create fun and engaging hands-on lab activities that break the boundaries of traditional science education. Her goal is to unlock the inner scientist in everyone, and inspire more science play and experimentation in everyday life!

This program is free but advance registration is required, which can be done on the library’s interactive calendar at www.bhpl.net, or by calling 374-5515. The program is supported by funding from Cornerstones of Sciene.
