Saturday, July 12, 5 pm – 7 pm: Continuing the 2023 Speaker Series
The Shaw Institute, a nonprofit scientific research center in Blue Hill, continues its summer speaker series for the 20th year by featuring their next speaker, Dr. James Brown, from Arizona State University’s Biodesign Institute. Dr. Brown will highlight his pivotal research on material design, plastics recycling, and how creating eco-friendly replacements for dangerous chemicals, such as PFAS, can lead us to a more sustainable future. Dr. Brown’s lecture will be both in person and via Zoom on July 12th. Doors open at 5 pm for a 6 pm lecture. Wine and cheese are provided by the Blue Hill Wine Shop.
