Join the Blue Hill Co-op and 5 Star Nursery & Orchard on October 20th for our Annual Community Cider Pressing!
Turn local, RIPE, no spray apples into fresh pressed cider!
Bring between ¼-3 bushels of apples each. (No rotten/dropped apples please.) We’ll create a “community blend” using a commercial grade cider press to produce up to 3 gallons of cider per bushel.
Apples will be collected from 12-1pm. The amount of apples you
bring determines how much cider you take home. PLEASE WASH YOUR PICKED APPLES BEFORE ARRIVAL. Empty gallon containers will be available for purchase from 5-Star for $1 each. (Sorry, we are no longer allowing folks to bring your own containers.)
Please dress for the weather as you will be spending time outside.
We hope to see you there!
Pre-Registration is required.
