Xerces Society ambassador Martina Dittmar will present information on native bees and their importance for wildlife, our food systems, and the ecosystem. The populations of pollinators are threatened on planet Earth from various causes. Learn how you can protect these fascinating animals in your yard with very simple measures from gardening to advocacy.
The Surry Garden Club meets in the historic Rural Hall at 680 Surry Road. There will be a short business meeting of the club before the evening’s program. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served at 6:30.
