The Friends of the Blue Hill Public Library’s second-Thursday-of-the-month film series will continue on Thursday, June 13th at 7:00 PM with the drama, Dead Poets Society (1989), directed by Peter Weir and starring Robin Williams. This will be the last of the series until fall.

In the film, a new English teacher arrives at an all-boys preparatory school that is known for its ancient traditions and high standards. He uses unorthodox methods to reach out to his students, who face enormous pressures from their parents and the school.

All films are shown free of charge on the library’s “pretty big” screen in the Howard Room. For more information, call the library (374-5515).
