On Sunday, September 23rd at 2:00 pm, The Grand concludes a 3-day tribute to the wonderful world of puppetry with a performance from the beloved local troupe Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers and their delightfully zany take on Washington Irving’s “The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow,” live on the Stanley Subaru stage! In this comedic version of the classic tale, schoolteacher Ichabod Crane helps the Headless Horseman find a new head and a spookier image. Meanwhile, a jealous Brom Bones tries to run Ichabod out of town as they both vie for the affection of Katrina Van Tassel. “The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow” features 20 of their hand-crafted mouth and rod puppets, and some shadow puppetry. Tickets for this General Admission event are $10 for Adults and $5 for Youth (12&under).
