Special Artist Reception for Alison Dibble on June 25 , 4-6pm at the Bagaduce Music Performance Hall with Scott Cleveland on piano.
Alison has been the featured Bagaduce Music Featured Visual Artist since January 2025.
Botanist, Painter, Musician Alison Dibble has expressed her love of the beauty she sees around her through inspirational and beautiful oil and water color paintings. Her style is loose and slightly abstract on landscape, seascapes and still life arrangements, real and imagined. She also has an abstract series,“jazz improvisation”.
She expresses verve and robustness in her art. Can she surprise herself, come up with something more interesting than if she labors over the details? “Details can be there! But they come later in the process, once a bold design is in place.”
She and her husband, Keith have lived in a quiet spot in Brooklin for over 20 years and her paintings reflect much of Maine’s beauty and ruggedness.
Come and wish her well and have a “last-chance” opportunity to see a piece you may wish to purchase before she moves to Washington state
