Tapley Cove Oyster Farm is a small, community-driven aquaculture business dedicated to raising premium oysters and fostering a deep connection between people and the coastal environment. These waters provide the perfect blend of salinity and nutrients to produce oysters with a distinct, clean, and briny flavor that reflects the essence of Maine’s coast. We sell our oysters directly to local residents and supply many of the area’s restaurants. With our mobile shucking station, we bring the ocean’s freshest offerings to events, bars, weddings, and community gatherings, creating interactive culinary experiences that celebrate Maine’s coastal bounty. This summer we are excited to begin offering guided farm tours and on-the-water tastings, inviting visitors to experience life on the oyster farm firsthand. Guests will learn about sustainable aquaculture, the life cycle of oysters, and the care that goes into producing every shell—and of course, enjoy the unmatched taste of oysters harvested right from the water.
