The public is invited to join Belfast photographer Jim Kosinski for a lively slide presentation at the Blue Hill Public Library that takes a look at the traditions of humor in photography from the early days to the present, Thursday March 1st at 6:30 PM. There will be plenty of good ideas for students, teachers, avid amateurs, aspiring pros or those just plain interested in photography. Jim will hold a Q and A session afterwards, and says that the presentation is designed for all ages & cameras (yes, even phones).
Jim has been a photography educator for decades, teaching classes and workshops at colleges, schools, art centers and museums throughout Maine & the Northeast since the 1970s. He invented the Merlin Paint Can Pinhole Camera that’s used in photo and art classrooms throughout the world. This event is sponsored by the Blue Hill Public Library.
