Join us for Art & Sips Friday evenings in the Kaleidoscope Studio for a relaxed, creative start to your weekend! It is a beginner-friendly class to pair with your favorite local beverage. BYOB!
Needle felting is a simple needling technique like tattooing with small barbed needles to decorate a wool surface. Here’s where you ‘paint’ with a barbed needle building up thin layers of ArtWaves amazing array of dyed wool, silk fibers and other embellishments. It can be a meditative experience – it’s like coloring with sheep’s fleece.
There will be plenty of designs to choose from that are perfect for people who just want to sample this technique or you can get more complex in your design by using your own photos and more tapping. You get to relax bask in color, experiment with the abundant stash. No skill or experience required all materials included to make a few coasters, a hotplate or a framable tapestry.
$46 ($36 for members)
