Maintenance Worker III/Boiler Operator

Hancock County Maintenance Worker III will assist primarily at the Hospital including all its offsite clinics in the performance of necessary duties.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain boilers and other auxiliary equipment for producing steam heat and other purposes for the Hospital.
Operate and maintain all mechanical support equipment.
Conduct rounds of all mechanical spaces while maintaining proper operating logs.
Constructs, repairs, and maintains wooden structures.
Applies coats of paint, stain, enamels, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces.
Assist in Fire, Emergency, and all other drills.
Respond and assists to the security needs of the hospital as necessary.
Stay current with all assigned training modules.
Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Contribute effectively to the accomplishment of Hancock County hospitals and offsite clinics goals, objectives, and activities.
May be assigned to assist will all above listed duties at Northern Light Health including all its offsite clinics.
Other Information:

State of Maine High Pressure Boiler License or expected to be certified and licensed within 12 months of hire
