DESCRIPTION:This five-day art immersion is designed for young artists in gr
 ades 4 through 8 who want to deepen their understanding of design\, materi
 als\, color and artistic execution. Through a combination of guided instru
 ction\, collaborative discussion and self-directed projects\, students wil
 l explore the fundamental elements of design to create intentional\, well-
 composed artwork.\n\nEach day will begin with structured lessons covering 
 materials\, equipment\, art history and theory. Students will then be guid
 ed through the process of planning and executing their own creative projec
 ts. From brainstorming and preliminary sketches to refining and completing
  their work\, students will gain valuable insight into the full artistic p
 rocess.\n\nThis program is ideal for young artists who want to strengthen 
 their visual storytelling skills\, refine their ability to plan and execut
 e their ideas\, and gain confidence in their creative voice in a studio fi
 lled with possibilities..\n\nAll materials included\n\nParticipants should
  bring lunch\, snacks\, and water\n\nNo before/after care or transportatio
 n provided\n\n\n\nAbout the Instructor: Liz Cutler\, founder of ArtWaves\,
  is an experienced artist and educator dedicated to nurturing creativity i
 n young minds. With expertise across multiple mediums\, Liz creates an eng
 aging and supportive environment where children can thrive. Her workshops 
 are designed to inspire curiosity\, focus\, and a lifelong love of art.
