DESCRIPTION:Blue Hill Public Library and Word: Blue Hill Literary Festival 
 will present six free workshops for kids at the library on Friday and Satu
 rday\, October 19th and 20th\, as part of a larger literary festival that 
 will be going on around town.\n\nThree of the workshops at the library are
  aimed at teens and will include “poetry slam” coaching and performanc
 es. There will be two author workshops for kids on Saturday\; one for kids
  ages 4 to 8 with local author Bundy Boit and illustrator Deb Belyea with 
 their new book\, Letter by Fairy Post (participants will make fairy crowns
 !)\; and one for kids 8 to 12 years in which they will learn how to draw a
 nimals with award-winning illustrator Hazel Mitchell as she sketches “To
 by”— the dog from her book of the same name. There will also be a writ
 ing workshop for kids 6 to 18 years of age by the Telling Room\, a nonprof
 it writing center in Portland\, Maine\, dedicated to the idea that childre
 n and young adults are natural storytellers.\n\nFor the times and further
