Talk: My Life Long Relationship with Sweetgrass

Join Blue Hill Heritage Trust for the first talk in our annual Spring Speaker Series! Our 2020 theme is “connection to place.” We are excited to host, Carol Dana, from the Penobscot Nation in Old Town to tell stories about her lifelong relationship with sweetgrass. She works at the Cultural and Historic Preservation Department for the Penobscot Nation and is their Penobscot Language Master. This event will take place at The Gatherings in Surry Saturday, April 4th, 7-8pm. Light refreshments included.
