Everyone is invited to hike the story trail at Patten Stream in Surry for the months of June or July. Landere Naisbitt from Blue Hill Heritage Trust and Claire Malina from the Blue Hill Library set up a special story trail for folks of all ages to enjoy! Local author Kimberly Ridley’s recently published book, The Secret Stream, will be on display along the trail for participants to read as they hike along Patten Stream. The Secret Stream tells a magical story about the life of a stream and all of the wildlife that depend on it. Hike the trail any time between June 1st and July 31st to read the story and get to know Patten Stream, a Blue Hill Heritage Trust Preserve In Surry. Stop at the kiosk to use a QR code and fill out a VERY short form. Then, visit the library to pick up a small prize!
