DESCRIPTION:Lee Lee Leonard of the SEED Barn in South Blue Hill will speak 
 about her work in Haiti\, building and supporting seed preservation and ex
 change\, urban gardens\, and creative works around seeds by Haitian artist
 s\, on Thursday\, July 19th at 7:00 PM at the Blue Hill Public Library. Th
 e work includes preserving seeds from traditional Haitian crops to help en
 sure food security\, and establishing a “seed library.” The project al
 so includes support of related artwork by Haitian artists\, some of which 
 will be on display during the talk.\n\nLeonard founded the SEED Barn to en
 gage a network of schools and land stewards at the intersection of art and
  ecology to promote long term habitat restoration\, in Blue Hill and aroun
