DESCRIPTION:If you’ve always admired hooked rugs and thought you might en
 joy making your own\, then this class is for you! In this one day introduc
 tory workshop\, you will make a 9” hooked piece with a coastal design th
 at can be used as a trivet\, wall hanging or pillow. A kit is provided tha
 t includes pattern on monks cloth and sufficient yarn to complete the patt
 ern\, but you get to choose from a selection of hand-dyed colors to person
 alize your project. This form of rug making is so fast and easy it is ofte
 n described as “instant gratification with wool”. All finishing stages
  will be taught before you leave\, and veteran instructor\, Judith Hotchki
 ss\, will cover everything you need to know to confidently complete your p
 roject on your own. Be forewarned\, students are usually contemplating the
 ir next project before they have even completed the first!! Frame and #9 O
 xford punches are available for loan during class and purchase afterwards 
 if desired. The cost is $125 for members/$135 for non-members and includes
