DESCRIPTION:Poet and photographer Betsy Headley\, resident of Swanville\, M
 aine\, will read from her new collection\, Something is Always Left\, at t
 he Blue Hill Public Library on Thursday\, April 26 at 6:00 PM. The collect
 ion was published by Maine Authors Publishing. This is her first poetry bo
 ok.\n\nSomething Is Always Left explores the poet’s winding journey thro
 ugh “Iowa tornadoes\, saddle shoe struggles\, subways in Japan\, loss of
  grandparents\, and musings on parenthood\, aging\, spiritual peace\, and 
 world reflection.” Nature provides a steady source of strength and guida
 nce\, according to Betsy.\n\nBetsy studied poetry at the college level in 
 Colorado and Maine\, and since 2009 she has been a member of a poetry grou
 p facilitated by Belfast poet Barbaria Maria. She has participated in nume
 rous poetry contests\, open-mic readings\, and performed at the Belfast Po
 etry Festival. Her work has been published in Off the Coast and The Aurore
 an.\n\nBooks will be available for sale and signing. This event is sponsor
