SUMMARY:Plein Air Art Meetup
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wanted to create nature inspired art\, but felt a
 wkward about setting up your supplies in the middle of the woods or along 
 the trail? Now is your chance to give it a try. Everyone is welcome\, whet
 her you are a trained artist or a hobbyist at heart. Once a month\, May-Au
 gust\, meet up with BHHT’s Beth Dickens (a hobbyist artist herself) at v
 arious trails and be inspired by the scenery.\n\nEach month the “theme
 ” of the scenery will change as will the day\, time\, and location of ea
 ch meetup.\n\n•“Spring Ephemerals” on the Parker Point-South Street 
 Trail (in Blue Hill) - Friday\, May 29th 2-4pm (Starting at the Parker Poi
 nt end of the trail.)\n\n•“Views of Blue Hill Mountain” in the field
  at the base of Blue Hill Mountain (in Blue Hill) - Wednesday\, June 17th 
 10am-noon (Meeting at/near the apple tree.)\n\n•“Coastline &amp\; Inte
 rtidal Zone” on the shore at Carter Nature Preserve (in Surry) - Tuesday
 \, July 21st 9:30-11:30am (Meeting at the Shore &amp\; Woods Trail kiosk a
 nd walking to the beach.)\n\n•“Scenic Vista” on the Peter Clapp Acce
 ssible Trail at Caterpillar Hill (in Sedgwick) - Wednesday\, August 12th 4
 -6pm (Meeting at the parking area and walking up the trail.)\n\nBeth will 
 supply attendees with nature-journals and colored pencils\, and have sit-u
 pon mats\, and a few folding chairs\, but you are welcome to bring your ow
 n personal supplies too. This isn’t intended as an instructional period\
 , but a space where you and your art can feel supported.\n\nNo registratio
 n is required. Come as you are able.\n\nThis event is intended for people 
 ages 16 and older.\n\n*These are fair-weather gatherings and do not have r
 ain-dates.\n\n**If you have questions about the properties or your ability
  to participate\, please give our office a call at 374-5118.\n\n***These g
 atherings will be outside and attendees should dress accordingly.
