DESCRIPTION:Live on the Stanley Subaru stage at The Grand in Ellsworth on S
 aturday January 14th at 2:00 pm\, TEMPO (The Eastern Maine Pops Orchestra)
  interacts with local teen actors in a theatrical adaptation of Sergei Pro
 kofiev's classic orchestral fable “Peter and the Wolf!” Tickets are on
  sale now and are $12 for adults and $8 for youth 12 and under.\nThis uniq
 ue play-with-score is directed by Robin Jones\, assistant directed and cho
 reographed by Nina Robinson-Poole with orchestral storytelling under the d
 irection of TEMPO's Rebecca Edmondson. The audience will see a parody of C
 hekhov's “The Cherry Orchard” that shows a child's confusion when face
 d with the adult world. Young adults become animals with colors and dispos
 itions matched from human to animal. The Prokofiev score is incorporated i
 n its entirety throughout the second act played by TEMPO (an orchestra tha
 t provides young musicians an opportunity to enhance their skills through 
 performance) with the traditional narration of the score adapted for this 
 production. The cast of local teens include Moxie McBrearity (Grandmother 
 and Narrator)\, Caleb Leathers (Peter)\, Brady Kelley (Drushka/Wolf)\, Sav
 annah Hasham (Anya/Bird)\, Olivia Davis (Doctor/Cat)\, Nick Hansen (Ivan/H
 unter) and Kayla Hardison (Marya/Duck). In addition to Jones\, Robinson-Po
 ole and Edmondson\, the production staff includes Kimberly Fitch (Administ
 ration\, Costumes)\, Garrett Harris (Sound Tech) and Peter Miller (Tech De
