DESCRIPTION:The Bagaduce Music Lending Library and Friends of the Blue Hill
  Public Library will present a preview of Gaetano Donizetti's opera\, La F
 ille du Regiment\, at the Blue Hill Public Library on Friday March 1st at 
 1:00 PM. A live performance of the opera will be simulcast at The Grand in
  Ellsworth the following day\, Saturday\, March 2nd\, from the Metropolita
 n Opera in New York.\n\n"Tenor Javier Camarena and soprano Pretty Yende te
 am up for a feast of bel canto vocal fireworks—including the show-stoppi
 ng tenor aria Ah! Mes amis\, with its nine high Cs. Alessandro Corbelli an
 d Maurizio Muraro trade off as the comic Sergeant Sulpice\, with mezzo-sop
 rano Stephanie Blythe as the outlandish Marquise of Berkenfield. Enrique M
 azzola conducts."\n\nLocal opera enthusiasts Linda Lesko and David Porter 
 will summarize the plot\, introduce the music and offer some ideas of spec
 ial ways to enjoy the Saturday simulcast. All are welcome\, no previous op
