NT Live: Julius Caesar

On Thursday, March 22nd at 3:00 pm, The Grand projects on the Coastal Eye Care Screen a live, high-definition simulcast of the NT Live presentation of Shakespeare’s classic tale of political treachery and justice in Ancient Rome “Julius Caesar”, staged at the National Theatre and broadcast live to cinemas. Caesar returns in triumph to Rome and the people pour out of their homes to celebrate. Alarmed by the autocrat’s popularity, the educated élite conspire to bring him down. After his assassination, civil war erupts on the streets of the capital. Nicholas Hytner’s production will thrust the audience into the street party that greets Caesar’s return, the congress that witnesses his murder, the rally that assembles for his funeral and the chaos that explodes in its wake. Tickets for this General Admission presentation are $15 for Adults & Seniors, $12 for Grand Members & Military, $10 for Students (College) and $7 for Youth (12&under).
