DESCRIPTION:Sunday June 20 \n\nIn this engaging two-hour workshop\, student
 s will explore the expressive possibilities of soft pastels through bold\,
  gestural mark-making. Using the innovative Mi-Teintes Velvet paper—know
 n for its uniquely textured surface—participants will create a dynamic l
 andscape full of movement\, color\, and depth and bring home a 9 x 12 past
 el painting.\n\nThis distinctive paper allows for rich layering\, holding 
 multiple applications of pigment without the need for fixative or concern 
 about dusting. Students will experiment with building atmosphere\, blendin
 g\, and mark variation while gaining confidence in a more intuitive\, less
  controlled approach to landscape drawing.\n\n
