DESCRIPTION:The Castine Historical Society is co-sponsoring with the Univer
 sity of Maine at August a Zoom symposium on Castine writer\, Katherine But
 ler Hathaway. UMA Professor of English Lisa Botshon will moderate a discus
 sion on Hathaway’s life and her best selling 1943 memoir The Little Lock
 smith. Chris Austin\, Hathaway’s grand nephew and Dr. Abby Clouse-Radiga
 n will provide context for Butler Hathaway’s life and work. This program
