DESCRIPTION:Lino-Cut Printing\n\nWhat if you have an inner printmaker to un
 leash? Try it out in this hands-on\, beginner-friendly workshop! Lino-cutt
 ing is a classic relief printing technique that allows you to turn your or
 iginal sketches into reusable stamps. During this session\, you will learn
  the end-to-end process of designing\, transferring\, and safely carving y
 our own linoleum block. \n\nWe’ll explore the possibilities of block pri
 nting by printing custom designs on both paper and fabric. Whether you wan
 t to make a set of unique note cards or a hand-printed tea towel or muslin
  tote bag \, this class provides the foundation you need. The best part? Y
 our custom-carved "Lino-Cut" block is yours to keep\, allowing you to cont
 inue printing on a variety of materials at home. \nAll materials are inclu
 ded—join in\, connect and create - bring family friends and colleagues  
 and ! We provide the carving tools\, linoleum\, inks\, and surfaces to get

 your instructor: Seth Birch\n\nSeth Birch\, born in rural Northeast Ohio s
 tudied at Xavier University in Cincinnati\, Ohio and in Germany at Freie U
 niversität Berlin. Since 2024 the artist has lived and worked in Deer Isl
 e\, Maine. Participating in residencies and workshops instructing in vario
 us mediums along the way. His practice ranges from Sculpture to Functional
  and from intimate to large scale. Working with many mediums Seth Birch’
 s eclectic practice is a deep dive into strained relationships\, personal 
 and worldly. His most recognizable work is of two figures ripping their he
 art and mind out behind screens. Exploring the relationship of the reality
  of emotions to the hidden nature of modern means of sharing lives.\n\n\n\
