King Hill Farm Tour

King Hill is a diversified, organic family farm located in Penobscot, Maine. In addition to growing a wide variety of produce, they raise beef, pork, chicken, and hens for eggs. They believe in the value of healthy soils that promote vigor in plants and animals. The diversity of their farm allows them to be a relatively closed system, minimizing off-farm inputs. King Hill Farm takes pride in being an educational resource for school groups, colleges, apprentices, volunteers, friends, neighbors, and the community. This tour is co-sponsored by the Blue Hill Co-op and Blue Hill Heritage Trust. This program is free, family-friendly, and open to the public. Please wear sturdy close-toed shoes for the tour.
