The Blue Hill Public Library will host a program on home heating efficiency on Thursday March 7th at 6:30 PM, exploring different ways people can keep their homes warmer during the winter months.
Speakers will include Ray Yardy from Window Dressers, who will speak about the benefits of window inserts for insulating homes and how that organization can provide them for community members free of charge; Bruce Stahnke of Stahnke + Kitagawa Architects, who will share tips for energy efficiency and conservation improvements for existing and new homes; and Roland Leclerc, Master Electrician of Peninsula Electric and AC, who has installed more than 140 heat pumps and will focus on maintenance, repair and cleaning heat pumps.
Each speaker will give a short presentation, with plenty of time for questions from the audience. This program is sponsored by the library, it is free of charge, and everyone is welcome. For more information, call the library at 374-5515.
