This 9 week training will prepare volunteers to provide Patient Care services. Hospice Patient Care Volunteers provide direct non-medical service to individuals with life limiting illnesses as well as their caregivers. Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County is a Maine state-licensed volunteer hospice agency, serving the community both independently and in partnership with medical hospice programs.
Application & pre-training interviews are required. Applications available online at www.hospiceofhancock.org or by request calling 667-2531. Fees for training are $75 for the Patient Care Training. Applications must be received by March 30.
