DESCRIPTION:The public is invited to the annual Friends of Blue Hill Librar
 y Holiday Party on Saturday\, December 8th\, from 2:30 to 5:30 PM. This mu
 ch-anticipated event offers something for everyone! The entertainment sche
 dule is as follows (times are approximate):\n\n2:45—Songs and Stories fr
 om Noel Paul Stookey\n3 -5—Drop-in Craft Station for Kids\n3:05—George
  Stevens Academy Jazz Combo\n3:30—a dramatic reading of Dickens’ A Chr
 istmas Carol\n3:30—Bee Parks &amp\; the Hornets\, music &amp\; dancing\n
 4:30—Misty Mountain Singers\n5:00-- Caroling Sing-Along\n\nPartygoers ar
 e asked to consider bringing a wrapped gift for a child\, labeled with age
  and gender appropriateness. Gifts can be dropped off at the library anyti
 me through the day of the party. The gifts will be donated to the Tree of 
 Life and The Emmaus Center where they will be distributed to families in n
 eed.\n\nThe library will be closing early that day\, at 2:00 PM. There wil
 l be the usual array of refreshments\, cookies and more cookies. Refreshme
 nt donations are welcome if anyone has a favorite holiday treat they would
  like to share. The party is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. For
