 ic Community in Western North Carolina : “Give to Asheville Folks”\n\n
 Blue Hill\, Maine – Bagaduce Music\, in collaboration with the First Con
 gregational Church of Blue Hill UCC\, will be hosting “Give to Asheville
  Folks\,” a benefit for musicians and artists devasted by Hurricane Hele
 ne. Before the storm struck\, Asheville was a vibrant hub for arts and mus
 ic. However\, the storm deluged the French Broad River watershed with 14 i
 nches of rain and caused severe flooding in the downtown arts district. In
  response\, local musicians traded guitars and fiddles for chainsaws and s
 hovels to help their neighbors restore basic services\, but they faced sig
 nificant personal losses in venues\, performance opportunities\, and incom
 e.\n\nOn November 13\, 2024\, Bagaduce Music will provide a benefit event 
 at the church\, located at 22 Tenney Hill in Blue Hill\, to aid these dedi
 cated artists. The event will feature:\n\n•	4:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Silent au
 ction showcasing unique gifts and crafts from local businesses and artists
 . Bidding will take place in Dolly Fisher Hall at the Congregational Churc
 h. You must bid in person.\n•	6:00 PM - 7:15 PM: Concert by Bagaduce Mus
 ic songwriters and ensembles\, featuring Maine folk and traditional music.
  \n•	7:45 PM - 8:30 PM: Contradance with music by the Northern New Engla
 nd Ensemble. This event will be held in Fisher Hall\, where participants c
 an continue bidding on items\, enjoy refreshments\, and join in a contrada
 nce.\n\nA suggested donation of $20 will be collected at the door. All pro
 ceeds will be sent to two worthy and vetted organizations. LEAF Global Art
 s Relief Fund (offering a matching funds drive)\, brings music and arts to
  schools in western North Carolina and ReString Appalachia gets quality in
 struments back in the hands of those who lost them due to Helene.\nFor mor
