SUMMARY:Genealogy Help Desk at the  Blue Hill Public Library
DESCRIPTION:Blue Hill Public Library’s “Drop-In Genealogy Help Desk” 
 will continue its winter season with sessions scheduled on Saturdays\, Feb
 ruary 8th and 22nd from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the library’s main room n
 ext to the reference desk. Local expert Liffey Thorpe will be on hand to a
 nswer questions from the public about library and online resources for doi
 ng genealogy research as well as offer advice on particular issues or “b
 rick walls.” Participants are encouraged to come with focused questions.
 \n\nLiffey Thorpe has been doing genealogy for many years. She has taken c
 ourses at Boston University and Salt Lake Community College. She recently 
 received certification from the Board for Certification of Genealogists in
  Washington\, D.C. She holds a doctorate in Classics from Stanford Univers
