  PM\nJoin ArtWaves Artist in Residence Rainey Rodriguez for a welcoming we
 ekend introduction to oil painting designed especially for beginners and t
 hose with minimal painting experience. This Friday evening and weekend for
 mat allows participants to fully immerse themselves in the creative proces
 s\, returning each day with fresh eyes while building skills and confidenc
 e in a relaxed community studio setting.\nThrough hands-on instruction and
  guided demonstrations\, students will learn the foundations of oil painti
 ng\, including underpainting\, working with limited color palettes\, paint
  application techniques\, composition\, and the traditional “fat over le
 an” approach used to create strong\, lasting paintings. Rainey will also
  introduce students to the different brands of oil paints\, brush types\, 
 painting surfaces\, and mediums\, helping demystify the materials and maki
 ng oil painting approachable and enjoyable.\nOne of the unique benefits of
  this ArtWaves experience is that everything is included. Participants can
  enjoy a full oil painting workshop experience without the expense or over
 whelm of purchasing supplies and equipment on their own. It’s an ideal w
 ay to explore a new medium\, reconnect with creativity\, or simply enjoy a
  creative weekend getaway close to home.\nKnown for her encouraging teachi
