 miraculous phenomena. Virtually everyone has noticed and enjoyed birds sin
 ging\, and the curious have wondered why and how it exists. Although we st
 ill don't fully understand animal communication\, studying bird song has t
 aught us about how they\, and we\, communicate and experience the world.\n
 \nJames Longo is a PhD student at the University of Maine researching Bick
 nell's Thrush conservation. He is also a board member of Downeast Audubon\
 , Coordinator of the Hancock County Young Birders Club\, and a guide for t
